Hi, I’m Amy Littlejohn, the
secretary at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
I joined the Good Shepherd
staff in July of 2008.
My family began attending
church when I was 8 years old and it was at that time that I began a
relationship with Jesus Christ, but really came to the realization and
subsequent decision that I wanted to serve Jesus Christ with everything
that is within me when I was 17 at a summer youth camp. It was at this
camp that I rededicated my life to Christ and felt a distinct call into
ministry.
A year after high school, in
answering the call that God had placed on my life; I left my family in
Michigan to attend North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN. It
was at North Central that I met my husband Philip who was studying to
become a Pastor.
My husband Phil and I, along
with our four children – Jordan, Austin, Tyler and Meghan reside and
minister in Carey. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my
family, reading, doing puzzles and watching sports – especially football
and basketball.
One of my favorite passages in
Scripture is Psalm 121: I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my
help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and
earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not
slumber; …….. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over
your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and
forevermore.
In Christ,
Amy
